Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate and current.
Product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information are provided to assist customers in selecting products.
Actual products may occasionally vary slightly in appearance from photographs due to manufacturing changes, packaging changes or product updates.
Where a product specification, dimension, connection type, thread type, pressure rating or other technical detail is important to your application, please contact HomeBrew Works before placing your order.
We may correct errors or update website information where necessary.
Product Compatibility
Many brewing, kegging, dispensing and CO₂ products require compatible fittings, connections or equipment.
Customers are responsible for checking product compatibility before purchase.
If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your equipment or intended application, please contact HomeBrew Works before ordering.
We are happy to assist with product selection where reasonably possible.
Advice provided by HomeBrew Works is based on the information supplied by the customer. Customers should provide complete and accurate information about their equipment and intended application.
Orders
Placing an order through our website is an offer to purchase the selected products.
An order is not necessarily accepted simply because an automated order confirmation has been generated.
HomeBrew Works may contact you if there is a problem with an order, including a stock discrepancy, pricing error, product availability issue, delivery restriction or suspected fraudulent transaction.
If we are unable to fulfil an order that has already been paid, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund for the affected product or order.
Prices
Prices displayed on the HomeBrew Works website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Any applicable taxes and charges will be displayed as required.
Delivery charges are calculated or displayed during checkout where automated shipping is available.
We may change prices from time to time.
A price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted and paid, except where there has been an obvious pricing or website error and subject to applicable law.
Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payment options may include PayPal and card payment through Stripe Secure Checkout, together with other payment methods that may be made available from time to time.
Card details entered through Stripe Secure Checkout are entered on Stripe’s hosted payment system. HomeBrew Works does not directly collect or store your full card number through our website.
Payment must be successfully completed before an order is dispatched unless HomeBrew Works has agreed to alternative payment arrangements.
Stripe Secure Checkout
Customers selecting Pay by card using Stripe Secure Checkout will be redirected to Stripe to securely enter their card payment details.
After payment, the customer should be redirected back to the HomeBrew Works website.
A payment confirmation from Stripe does not prevent HomeBrew Works from contacting a customer if there is a genuine issue with product availability, delivery or the order details.
Shipping Within Australia
HomeBrew Works ships products to locations within Australia subject to available delivery services and any product-specific transport restrictions.
Available shipping options and delivery charges are displayed during checkout where automated shipping is available.
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by the delivery provider, destination, weather, public holidays and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an order is returned or delayed because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.
International Orders
HomeBrew Works can ship many products internationally.
Automated international shipping prices are not currently available through our website.
International customers should email [email protected] with the products and quantities they wish to purchase and their delivery location.
We will obtain an international shipping quote where possible.
Some products may be restricted from international transport because of dangerous goods requirements, pressure equipment requirements, carrier restrictions or destination-country regulations.
The customer is responsible for checking applicable import requirements, duties and taxes in their destination country.
HomeBrew Works may decline an international order where the product cannot reasonably or lawfully be shipped to the requested destination.
CO₂ Cylinders and Pressure Equipment
CO₂ cylinders, regulators, valves, pressure equipment and related components must be selected, installed, filled, tested, maintained and used appropriately.
Customers must follow applicable laws, standards, manufacturer instructions and safety requirements.
Compressed gas equipment can present serious hazards if incorrectly selected, modified, filled, installed or used.
Do not modify a cylinder, valve, pressure relief device or pressure-rated component unless the work is performed by a suitably competent and authorised person where required.
Customers should confirm that cylinders and pressure equipment are suitable and compliant for their intended use and location.
Information provided on the HomeBrew Works website is general product and safety information and is not a substitute for professional engineering, regulatory or workplace safety advice where such advice is required.
DIY Projects and Brewing Guides
HomeBrew Works may publish brewing guides, assembly instructions, educational material and DIY project information.
This information is provided for general educational purposes.
Customers are responsible for assessing whether a project is suitable for their skills, equipment and intended use.
Always use appropriate tools, protective equipment and safe working practices.
Electrical, gas, pressure equipment or other regulated work should only be performed by appropriately qualified or authorised persons where required by law.
Do not exceed the rated pressure, temperature or operating limits of equipment.
Product Safety
Customers must read and follow product instructions, warnings and safety information.
Products must only be used for their intended purpose and within their specified operating limits.
Keep brewing chemicals, cleaning products, CO₂ equipment and other potentially hazardous products away from children and unauthorised persons.
If you are unsure how to safely use a product, contact HomeBrew Works or seek appropriate professional advice before use.
Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees
Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Our products come with rights and consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or our Returns & Refunds Policy excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Depending on the nature of a problem, a customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Consumer guarantee rights operate independently of voluntary warranties and do not have a single fixed expiry date.
For more information about our return process, please see our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Change of Mind
HomeBrew Works is not required to provide a refund or replacement where a customer simply changes their mind.
We may consider change-of-mind returns at our discretion and subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
This does not affect rights available under the Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees. ACCC guidance distinguishes change-of-mind returns from consumer guarantee remedies.

Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, HomeBrew Works is not liable for loss or damage caused by misuse of a product, unauthorised modification, use outside the product’s specifications, failure to follow instructions or warnings, or use of incompatible equipment.
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any liability, consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using our website or placing an order, you acknowledge that information may be processed as reasonably necessary to operate the website, process payments, fulfil orders and provide customer service, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The current version will be published on the HomeBrew Works website.
Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms & Conditions are published and will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable laws of Australia.
Subject to any rights a customer may have under applicable consumer law, disputes relating to these Terms & Conditions are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Western Australia.
